Why are we evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ? Why are we evangelizing at all?

Answer: We are first evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ because Jesus himself commanded us too. He commanded us to preach and teach His gospel to the world. Read (Mark 16:15).

The second reason why we are evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ is out of our genuine love for Him and for lost humanity. For He (Jesus) has redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13) and has brought us into right standing with God through faith in Him. Read (2 Corinthians 5:17-21) (John 14:6). He (Jesus) has reconciled us to God the Father. He Jesus is our mediator (1 Timothy 2:4-6) who presents us faultless before a holy and a perfect God. With knowing these facts that we are now blameless of sin in God’s sight all because of what Jesus has done for us on the cross at Calvary we should rejoice in gladness (Colossians 1:19-22). Our hearts should overflow with love, gratitude and faithfulness to Him now and forevermore. He (Jesus) loved us so much that He died for us on that cross just to save us from the eternal penalty of our sins. Now we must die to ourselves (believers in Christ) and live for Him.

The third reason why we are evangelizing the gospel of Jesus Christ is out of our genuine compassion for the lost who don’t know Him. For those who don’t have the joy of having their many sins forgiven through Jesus’ mighty name. Read (Luke 24:47) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38-39) (1 John 2:12) for those who don’t know Jesus personally and the power of His resurrection.

When Jesus said in Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every to creature and to every nation.” Did Jesus really mean that?

Answer: Yes, He really meant that.

For us as believers, Is spreading the gospel an option or a command of Jesus?

Answer: It is a command (a mandate of Jesus).

Since we clearly see from Scripture it is a command of Jesus for us as believers to evangelize His saving gospel to the world, how are we to do this? How are we to evangelize His gospel to the world? Simply put, how are we to evangelize?

Evangelizing in word- This means we are to evangelize the gospel by and with the Word of God (the Holy Bible). There is only one gospel and that is this “ Christ Jesus who is the Only Begotten Son of God came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15) and that He died on the cross for all men taking their punishment for their sin upon himself there at the cross. And that whosoever will believe in His death at the cross for them, His burial, and in His bodily resurrection will be saved by God.” There is no other gospel than this. There never has been and there never will be. Jesus is the Savior of the world and He is the only Savior. Read (Galatians 1:1-9) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) (John 3:16) (John 4:42) (1 John 4:14). And we as the children of God are called by God himself to proclaim this gospel to this lost and dying world. Read (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

Is God calling us all to be a pastor preaching behind a pulpit?

Answer: No.

But has God called all believers (all his children) to proclaim Jesus as the sinless Son of God and to proclaim his gospel to this lost and dying world?

Answer: Yes

What is the definition of a born - again Christian?

Answer: The definition of a born - again Christian is one who believes that God manifested himself in the flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. A born - again Christian believes Jesus died on the cross to pay the full penalty for their sins, they believe in Jesus' burial, and in His bodily resurrection from the dead. One who believes that Jesus Christ is the sinless Son of God the one and only Savior of the world, and by believing in Him they have everlasting life, the forgiveness of sins, and shall never perish.

Should we as true believers in Christ have compassion for the lost? And is so why?

Answer: We are indeed to have compassion for the lost because first and foremost our Lord Jesus had compassion for the lost while He was here on earth. The Scriptures say He had compassion for the people (for the multitudes) because they were lost, because they were like sheep without a Shepherd. If you have no desire whatsoever, if you have no compassion for lost humanity, if you have no concern whatsoever that people are perishing and dying in their sins. You need to check if you're in the faith, you need to seriously check if you are truly saved. You need to examine yourself (2 Corinthians 13:5). The Scriptures say that Jesus had compassion for the lost. And if you claim to be saved, if you claim to have accepted this Jesus of the bible, He will come live within you. This same Jesus that lives in you does not change. For Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore (Hebrews 13:8). Why did I mention that? Here’s why “This means this same Jesus that you put your faith in still has compassion for lost humanity as He did while He was here on the earth. And if He truly lives in you, He will reveal this to you through His Word and by His Spirit.

What is God’s main concern for lost humanity? What is God’s # 1 priority concerning human beings?

Answer: God’s main concern is not that you find the perfect mate for your life. God’s main concern is not that you get that promotion on your job. God’s main concern is for lost humanity to be redeemed unto him once again. God’s main concern is for lost humanity to be reconciled to Him through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. For He (God) wants all humanity to come unto Him in repentance in so that they may be saved by Him (2 Peter 3:9) (Ezekiel 18:32) (Acts 17:30) (Luke 13:3,5) (Mark 1:15). For He (God) wants all to know Him personally through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Read (John 14:6) (1 Timothy 2:4-6).

Are we as the children of God on a mission sent by God himself to win souls to the Lord Jesus Christ?

Answer: Yes. Our mission is to fulfill and obey the Lord's command which is to "Go ye into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere (Mark 16:15)." We as the children of God who are led by God's Spirit (the Holy Spirit) are on the greatest mission to win souls to the Lord Jesus Christ, to lead people into God's eternal kingdom, in so that they too may be forgiven of their sins through His name thus through his gospel. Thus, having granted to them that believe in Him the greatest gift (eternal life) with God. Read (Romans 8:14) (Matthew 1:21) (Mark 16:15) (Luke 24:47) (John20:31) (Acts 4:12) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (Romans 10:13) (1 John 2:12) (1 John 5:11-13).

We are the ambassadors of Christ Jesus. What does this mean?

Answer: This means we are called to represent Him (Jesus) and we are called to proclaim Him as the sinless Son of God who saves sinners. Just as God the Father sent Jesus into the world (John 3:16-17), Jesus likewise sends us (His ambassadors, His children) into the world to proclaim His name. Read (John 17:18) (John 20:21).

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

The harvest is ripe right now. The harvest is ripe and plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray ye to the Lord of the harvest that He may send forth laborers into his harvest (Matthew 9:37). Keep in mind that while you are praying this prayer for others, the Lord has already sent you. You just don’t know it yet. What you don’t know is that you have already been placed in the harvest. Yes, you have already been placed in the field by God himself. The only question now is are you going to bear fruit? Are you going to bear precious seed? The seed is the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And you are to sew this gospel of Christ into the hearts and lives of people everywhere. What you don’t know is that you are also called to bear fruit. For by bearing this fruit you bring glory to God. The only way to bear fruit is by remaining in the Vine. If you are not bearing fruit, it is because you are not remaining in the Vine. For Jesus is the Vine and you are the branches. And apart from Him, apart from Jesus ye can do nothing. Read (John 15:1-27).

The Holy Spirits job is to convict the world of sin and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment (John 16:8). And the tool He uses is the Word of God. But the vessel He uses (the vessel He uses) is the child of God who has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. This means you if you claim to be a child of God who has received Christ.

It is not your job to save sinners. Because you can’t, you cannot even save yourself much less someone else. But however, it is your job to be a useful vessel for the Lord of whom He can work through. Why? Because you have been bought with a price and you are not your own. This means you do not belong to yourself. Do you not know that you are a temple of where The Holy Spirit of God dwells? For you are a temple of where God himself dwells on the inside of you (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) (2 Corinthians 6:16-18) (Colossians 1:27). Just take time to think about that for a moment. If you are a child of God, Jesus lives on the inside of you, and He wants to shine and speak brightly through you. Stop wrestling the Son of God! And don’t you dare quench The Holy Spirit when He wants to speak through you! He Jesus does not want to be mute throughout your entire life. Jesus said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross daily, and follow me.” Read (Luke 9:23).

People of the world it is impossible absolutely impossible to see Jesus in all His glory, it is impossible to see Jesus in all His holiness, it is impossible to see Jesus in all His splendor, majesty, beauty, righteousness, mercy, and authority and not proclaim the wonder of His name. It’s impossible to see Jesus for who He really is and not share him with others. For Jesus said, “Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” Read (Matthew 12:34) (Luke 6:45).

So, what’s the solution if you honestly don’t see Him this way? What’s the solution if you do not see Jesus for who He really is?

Answer: Pray, Pray, Pray, and Pray. The wonderful thing about God is that He is gracious, patient, and merciful with us humans. For it is written “5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking (James 1:5).” Pray something like this “ God my Father I come to you in the name of your Son the Lord Jesus Christ please hear my prayer. I come to you and ask that you grant me wisdom. I ask that you may help me to see Jesus for who He really is. I pray that you may help me to see Jesus in all His beauty, in all His righteousness, in all His holiness, and in all His splendor. Reveal to me your Son Jesus through your written and spoken word. Thank you, God, for hearing me. Amen.

Children of God, this sacred gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is more important than anything you can ever fathom. This gospel of Jesus Christ being proclaimed to the lost is more important than every desire you have. The Gospel of Jesus Christ being proclaimed to the lost is too important; it’s too costly to keep a secret, to keep it to ourselves. The gospel is not, and the gospel should not be a secret. God never meant, God never intended, God never designed the gospel to be kept to ourselves. God meant the gospel to be preached, God intended the gospel to be shared by his redeemed children who are to share this gospel with lost humanity, and God intended this gospel to be heralded to the whole world.

This gospel has come to us by God himself! Do we as believers really grasp this concept? Listen to me one more time. This gospel of Jesus Christ has come from the one true forever existent, all powerful, all mighty, God himself. Yes, this gospel is a revelation given unto us humanity. I want you to think about that for just a moment and dwell on those facts for a while.

We as believers in Christ Jesus do not have the option, we as believers in Christ Jesus do not have the luxury to not share Jesus! How dare we? Who do we think we are? This gospel is too important not to share with unbelievers. Most importantly Jesus’ name is to be glorified and highly honored. Therefore, this means His name must be heralded and exalted by his beloved children.

So, in conclusion God has commanded us through the person of Jesus Christ to share His gospel to all people everywhere. This was not an option; this was a command, a mandate of God. Jesus said, “those who love me will obey my commandments these are the ones who love me (John 14:21).” God has commanded us to share His Son Jesus with lost humanity. Jesus said, “The truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father (John 14:12).” If we as the redeemed children of God don’t declare Jesus unto this lost and dying world who will? Do not let unbelievers, do not let the lost wander aimlessly in this world when you personally know the answer (or the person rather) that can save their very souls. Jesus is His name. Do not let them wander aimlessly like sheep without a Shepherd. Do not let the people of this world wander aimlessly without sharing the Good News of Jesus unto them.
